Britney makes me so, so, SO sad. That girl is really sick, and no one is taking care of her. No one has taken care of her for years, or maybe ever -- because she's just a gravy train. A very mentally ill gravy train.

I admit that I gawked at the trainwrec for a while but now it's just too sad.

I feel very bad for her. Having spent time in two different mental facilities (2 weeks at one for eval and a month at another one), I know that there is nothing pleasant about being there especially when they won't let you leave even though you ask repeatedly. Though I was pretty mental when I went off to those facilities, I was still together enough to know that there was something wrong with me and that I probably needed help. If there's much truth in anything being printed about Britney, it doesn't appear she even understands that there is something wrong with her. I can't imagine how terrifying and upsetting to her it must be to be locked up, not allowed to leave, and to have no understanding of why you're there.

I hope she gets better and stays that way. I also feel bad for Kevin. Both those boys are too young to understand anything about what's going on with Britney. They are definitely old enough though to pick up on the vibe that something is wrong. Nick is very able to tell when I or Tom am upset and it makes him act out. As the primary caregiver now, I am sure he is having a hard time dealing with his young sons and trying to explain where Mommy has gone and why they can't see her. I hope they get to spend time with their half-siblings. As far as I know, Kevin has a pretty normal amicable relationship with them and his ex. It'd be good for those kids to be around a relatively normal family setting. Someone should ship them off to Montana and let them be raised by some rural family.
