"under god" will stay in the pledge of allegiance. but not for any church/state reasons. turns out that in this particular case, the supreme court ruled that the father who sued on behalf of his daughter does not have sufficient custody of the child to be able to speak for her. standing, schmanding -- souter and kennedy are just wusses.
