this woman randi rhodes on air america is absolutely unlistenable. she's like the left's version of sean hannity. she's been on for half an hour and all she's done is give a tired rant about corporate ownership of everything (followed immediately by a commercial for GM), and essentially shouted "george bush is stupid!" for about 15 minutes straight.

i mean, are they ever going to discuss actual current issues on this channel? and she's on for 4 frickin' hours! augh!

maybe janeane will talk about real stuff. i'll tune in for her at 7. but the next 3 and a half hours? no way.

he was on today. i only got the last 45 minutes of franken and it was pretty boring, a lot of mutual congratulation. but apparently bob kerrey was on earlier and it was an actual substantive discussion. but there was a stupid running joke involving a bad impression of ann coulter ripping leaves off a plastic ficus tree in the green room. i understand franken's expected to be funny, but i'd rather have verbal wit than impressions. they're just not funny.

i also don't like how randi rhodes shouts over the callers. why have callers at all if you're not going to listen to them? that's always rankled me. i'm just a hater of shout-overs in all circumstances.

although, she is finally talking about actual issues, but she's still shouty and has the most irritating voice i've ever heard.
