i'm eating an apple and watching the star wars holiday special. so far it's made up almost entirely of incomprehensible wookie grunting. mark hamill is wearing a distracting amount of makeup.

Since I am (barely) old enough to barely remember the Star Wars Christmas special airing on TV when I was I child, I spent much of the rest of my life wondering if it was something I truly saw, or just the product of an active imagination or a weird dream I had as a child. I was delighted when I heard five or six years ago that it WAS real, and then I was pretty horrified when I actually had the displeasure of viewing it not long after. My god that is awful TV! People who gasp and moan about the state of today's television offerings would do well to remember that travesty.
