i'm watching the hudsucker proxy and realizing what a dastardly shame it is that they didn't hire bruce campbell to play xander's drunken uncle. he kinda looks like if nick brendon and jason lee ran into each other at high speed.

you know, i don't think i've ever seen him in any role other than ash. he's really cute. *hides in corner now*

No, no, and no. but ok, yes, i saw him in spiderman and clapped and went "it's bruce campbell!" and i think he played the guy who bought out ellen's bookstore on ellen, the one with the giant mounted deer head.

do i have to give up my nerd licence because i've actually never seen an episode of xena?

Yes, he was that man. Among his many splenderous cult roles, he was in the Hudsucker Proxy, Serving Sara and The Majestic. He was also in the 90s remakes of the Love Bug and McHale's Navy(poor Bruce! But, hey, work is work). Oh, and he had an unbilled cameo in Fargo.
