this article kinda encapsulates what's been bothering me about the whole william hung thing. it just seems like an extended middle school practical joke, you know? let's make the dorky asian guy think he can be a supahstah, when really we're all laughing at him. it seems like the only people it's cool to still pull that sort of stuff on as adults are asian guys, because of the stereotypes listed in the article. i feel so bad for him. i don't know if he gets that he's really just a national joke.
