it was really an amazing amount of suckitude, so i'm glad you enjoyed the updates. :) it was sorta like...well, jobs essentially consist of being trapped somewhere you don't want to be for 8 hours, right? except you get freedom of movement, you get to choose things you want to do and when you want to do them for the most part, and you receive a variety of breaks that you can take whenever the urge strikes. (actually, this applies to my current job only -- i know a lot of jobs don't really fit these categories, including ones i've had.)
but this training? meant sitting in the same place doing repetative things for hours on end with no control and no distractions...actually, the training session sounds a lot like what telemarketing jobs must be like! except no taunting with just-out-of-reach food, or the wafting scent of sour milk.
i really hate the sour milk smell. it smells like my grandmother's apartment always did when i was a kid -- she'd always forget to throw out the milk and so the smell would build up and build up and slowly emanate from the closed fridge over a period of days until my mom would realize what it was and throw it out for her.
